Jayple started with a question about an everyday salon experience.
Jayple began from salon-related friction personally experienced and observed during college. What started as a question about making salon discovery and booking easier gradually developed into a larger idea connecting customers and salon businesses through digital experiences.
Building with purpose. Starting in Trichy.
Jayple Private Limited is a technology-driven company building a digital salon discovery and booking ecosystem.
Rather than treating booking as a simple transaction, we design dedicated experiences that recognize the needs of both sides of the salon ecosystem — helping customers discover services and schedule visits while providing salon partners with tools to build a strong digital presence.
By starting our operations locally in Trichy, we focus on practical challenges first. This deliberate regional grounding lets us build solutions tailored directly to customers and local beauty professionals.
Built from a problem we knew personally.
During college, Jayaprakash Thangavel and Allwin E personally experienced and observed the everyday friction points surrounding a simple salon visit.
The challenge was not the styling service itself, but everything that took place before entering the salon. Finding a suitable stylist, understanding pricing, verifying service catalogs, and dealing with the uncertainty of long physical queues often made salon visits complicated and unpredictable.
By observing these frustrations amongst their peers and local salon owners, they realized that the lack of clear digital discovery and scheduling options created unnecessary friction for everyone involved.

Founder Jayaprakash Thangavel began analyzing salon scheduling challenges alongside Co-Founder Allwin E during their first year of college.
Can technology make the salon discovery and booking experience easier?
This core question stayed with the founders as they continued college. What started as an everyday observation gradually developed into a collaborative project, laying the technical foundations of the Jayple platform.
The question stayed with us.
The idea that would eventually develop into Jayple began during Jayaprakash and Allwin's first year of college. It did not begin as a company, a product, or a business plan. It began as a question that neither of them could easily set aside.
As they moved through college, the question continued to develop alongside them. They discussed the problem with peers, observed how salon visits worked across different contexts, and gradually began thinking about whether a practical digital approach could address some of the friction they had experienced and observed.
There was no single moment when the idea became fully formed. Instead, their understanding deepened over time — shaped by continued observation, collaborative discussion, and a growing clarity about what a useful solution might look like.
Now in their final year of college, Jayaprakash and Allwin continue building the company around the same problem that first made them question the salon experience. The idea has changed as their understanding has changed — but the core direction has remained consistent.
The customer experience was only one side of the story.
The more the founders thought about the customer experience, the clearer another perspective became. A better discovery and booking experience could not be considered in isolation from the salon businesses providing those services.
For Customers
People looking for salon services often faced uncertainty before the visit itself — which salon to choose, what services are available, whether pricing is clear, and whether booking is possible without a physical visit.
- Discover salon businesses nearby
- Explore available services and pricing
- Access relevant service information
- Book salon appointments through the platform
For Salon Partners
Salon businesses — especially smaller, independent ones — often had limited ways to present their services digitally, improve discoverability, or connect with potential customers beyond walk-ins and word of mouth.
- Showcase salon services and pricing digitally
- Strengthen online presence and discoverability
- Connect with customers through a dedicated platform
- Participate in a growing digital salon ecosystem
This realisation shaped Jayple's direction. The problem was connected — customers and salon businesses were part of the same experience. A meaningful solution needed to consider both sides, not just one.
From an idea to dedicated digital experiences.
Once the problem was understood from both perspectives, Jayple's direction became clearer. A single interface would not represent the full scope of the challenge. Instead, Jayple developed dedicated digital experiences around both sides of the salon journey.

Jayple for Customers
A dedicated experience for discovering salon businesses, exploring services, accessing service information, and booking salon appointments.

Jayple for Salon Partners
A dedicated experience for salon businesses to present services, strengthen digital presence, improve discoverability, and connect with customers.
From a question to Jayple.
- The Question
A question worth exploring
A salon-related experience during college created a question about whether technology could simplify salon discovery and booking.
- The Idea Developed
Continued learning and shaping
Jayaprakash and Allwin continued discussing the problem, observing the experience, and gradually shaping a practical direction as they moved through college.
- The Problem Expanded
A broader understanding
The founders recognised that salon businesses were also part of the broader digital experience — the problem had two sides that needed to be addressed together.
- Two Sides Emerged
Customers and Salon Partners
Customer needs and salon business needs became part of one company direction. Jayple developed towards dedicated experiences for both sides of the salon journey.
- The Platforms Took Shape
Dedicated digital experiences
Jayple developed dedicated customer and Salon Partner digital experiences, available on Android and iOS, forming the foundation of the Jayple ecosystem.
- 06 July 2026
Jayple launched
Jayple launched as a technology-driven company building a digital salon discovery and booking ecosystem.
- Trichy
The current journey begins
Jayple's current live market journey begins in Trichy, Tamil Nadu, India. Building and learning locally before expanding further.
The problem still shapes the purpose.
The platform has launched. Dedicated digital experiences are live. But the original problem — the friction around discovering salons, understanding services, and accessing booking — has not disappeared. And salon businesses still need meaningful ways to participate digitally and become easier to discover.
Jayple exists between those two needs. The company is building to reduce unnecessary friction for customers exploring salon services while creating clearer digital paths for salon businesses to present what they offer, connect with customers, and participate in a growing ecosystem.
The purpose is not to replace how salons work. It is to make the connection between customers and salon businesses simpler, clearer, and more accessible through practical digital experiences.
What we are actively building.
To build clear, accessible digital experiences that make salon discovery, service exploration, and appointment booking simpler for customers — while enabling salon businesses to strengthen their digital presence, improve discoverability, and participate in the Jayple ecosystem.
The future we want to contribute towards.
We envision a more connected digital salon ecosystem — where discovering and accessing salon services becomes simpler for customers, and meaningful digital participation becomes more accessible for salon businesses of every size.
Principles shaping how we build.
Start with real problems
Jayple began from friction personally experienced and observed. We ground every idea in a real problem before deciding what the product should become.
Make the experience clearer
The original challenge involved uncertainty — which salon, what services, when to visit. We value clarity. Good digital experiences should reduce confusion and make the next step easier to understand.
Build for both sides
A stronger salon experience cannot be considered from one side alone. We build with both customers and salon partners in view, because the problem is connected.
Learn while building
The founders' idea developed while they continued college. We do not pretend to have every answer. We learn, question, improve, and keep building with a clearer understanding of the problem.
Grow with purpose
Jayple is currently live in Trichy. Growth matters when it strengthens the experience and keeps the company connected to the problem it exists to address.
Still at the beginning of the journey.

The question became a company. The journey continues.
What began as a question during college has developed into Jayple Private Limited — dedicated digital platform experiences, a growing salon partner ecosystem, and a team working from Trichy. The story is still at an early stage. The company continues building around the same core idea: understand the problem clearly, create practical digital experiences, and build with customers and salon partners in view.
